Korean webdesign is fundamentally some of the worst I've ever seen in my life. Doesn't matter though, because Koreans on average have such excellent connections.

Space Flight is awesome in any regard, i tend to stay up and watch the shuttle launches since my ISP streams Nasa tv for free =D, but seeing in person would be awesome ^^, can't imagine how loud it would be from 60 miles out from the cape. The pictures would be awesome aswell, i'm guessing they are from the hubble mission a few months back, it was amazing the stuff they achieved up there.

Yeah webdesign does tend to suck a bit for Korean sites, way too much reliance on images and flash to lay out pages rather than a simple CSS table or even raw html. it's terribly inefficient but i'm guessing it ain't going to change any time soon -.-"

You would think in this day and age, that most people would trust modern medicine enough to you know actually use it when someone is sick.

What kind of reasoning would force you to watch your own daughter/son suffer in front of you, while you pray to some magical being to make them magically better again.

This is the same stupid reasoning why creationism and all those other lunatic religious extremist ideas still exists today.

what do you guys think of tracker owners sending mass pms for donations and offering double uploads etc. as a gift?

one tracker that i really really dislike keeps doing this. the tracker starts with 'r', i won't name it.

i left a tracker before because the owner kept sending pms for 'donate and get double upload'.

well you could always ignore them, i've seen many communities offer extras for donations.

They do have to fund their trackers and servers somehow. as long as they don't force it on the community, i don't really see any harm in asking for a bit of donations once in a while to keep a site going.

If it is very forceful and mandatory and repetitive then that's a completely different scenario

i am trying to be mentally prepared for school since i have a couple of weeks left ... it is a bit depressing to think about it though lol

I just finished my chapter on first order and second order ordinary differential equations and it was major annoyance having to do these by hand, too much time and space to do

At least after this subject, when i need to do these equations for engineering i can just use Maple instead

I also sympathies with Sonata, I have a hard time getting to half my lectures, let alone preparing myself to return after mid sem break next week....
