the page banner image changes to a different ad its no bothersome its just there and Im just wondering

What is everyone's opinion on Obama getting the Nobel Peace Prize Award?

IMHO he hasn't done anything spectacular to deserve it. Many people say he only got it because he is a 'black president', and a 'celebrity'.

This case has just proved that Nobel Prize is going downhill. It's not about true accomplishment anymore, it's more a popularity game.

He's da man ! And he could use some positive publicity as well I think. So whether he did a lot or not idk. It's a good thing cuz he's th eright man in place.

Agreed. I like Obama, but he has not done anything yet that should merit him such a prestigious award. Perhaps after he did something truly spectacular...

It surprised me aswell. i can't even mention one thing he did that actually did anything towards peace.
It's kinda like how the Late Kim Dae Jung got it for his sunshine policy.
Atleast at that time there was actually something been done, whereas Obama spent a lot of money giving back peace to all the bankers in the world.

Well I cant give a proper opinion on Obama because I dont really look for updates on whats his
been trying to change or what he already did but to me it seems like Obama wife is doing more
changes since she is working with the health care and it seems like she is really making an
impact on her movement

what is this newegg thing? i've heard of it before. is it like some online company that buys stuff for you and sends it to your address?

neweggis basically a computer online shop actually its an online shop were they sell all different
kind of electronic items for cheap if Im not mistaken and oppa yes I think im going to plan on buying
a new laptop soon for university I think im going for an apple computer Im currently using a HP mine its
pretty new I got it this year but I want an apple because its adorable and the reviews on the site and
youtubes are very persuasive

Apples are nice, but i don't think the word you want to associate them with is affordable.
They are definitely built and marketed to upper range of price points, not to mention the Apple Tax

I like notebookcheck for comparisons of notebook hardware. Anyways, the only two laptops worth buying are Lenovo Thinkpads and Macbook Pros. The thinkpads are better, especially if you don't have a hardon for OSX.

macbooks are ok... but they are too expensive for their performance.

i like dell. they offer high performance laptops @ good prices.

personally not a fan of netbooks. too small and can't run any games on it :)

I think netbooks have their uses, but i'm definitely waiting for 2nd gen stuff to come out next year, Which would be Intel's Pinefield Platform and Nvidia's 2nd Gen Ion. At least these will be able to stream youtube without suffering a complete panic attack

Also interesting is the new cheaper ultraportables (12 inches to 14 inches) that are based on Intel's cheaper low power core2 platform that they haven't officially announced.

And i also happen to do most of my gaming on my laptop, but that might be because of my love for retro games more than anything

true games are meant for desktop..maybe because a laptop that can actually run new game would cost too much.......i was thinking of t buying a netbook to use at school and outside since i think laptops are too big...but i am waiting for new netbooks with win 7....
