Just curious how many CDs everybody buys a month. Tapes//Records also count!

I think I buy on average 5-7 per month.

apart from the main topic you brought on, most of all, many thanks for starting off opening new fresh topic in this section. it seems like sweet rainfall that falls in a drought. on account of a lack of people wanting to speaking in English. international talk has been hibernating for a long time since its inactivity.

some of the blame for its inactivity in this section must be coming from both the number of topics and the lack of English talkers. now, I hope we could turn over a new leaf.......

in reference to how many CDs I buy a month, I am not in a position of saying much a lot. now, I buy none a month. in that I joined great music trackers, as well as I could get music that I am looking for by downloading from that music trackers,

usually, I used to buy 3-5 classical music on a regular basis a month. since mostly the price of one classical music CD imported from other nations is going for 18000 won, it cost me a lot from my allowance allocated for a month.

well, oppa. I assume that you appear to be real music lover in way of buying 5-7 per month on average. also, I am wondering how many CDs we are about to buy would be appropriate a month.

actually maybe part of the reason there aren't many topics is because the forum has other section so it is a bit difficult to figure out what could and couldn't be posted here ..personally i would like to open some topics but i wouldn't want to be repetitive ...as a lot of the ppl who reply in this section seem to know korean well..
i am actually looking forward to when i am able to post in other sections "when my korean is better" :)

personally i don't buy cds "one of the reasons is because the albums i want aren't available much here"..
i used to buy tapes though...some pop and classicals...but when mp3 players came in the picture i stopped
so now i get most of my music via torrenting ...but unfortunately i still get most korean music via direct links...

not a matter of how many cds per month, but whether i like it or not. usually i d/l first, then if i really like it and wanna have it archived i go and buy it.

haven't downloaded any albums for at least a month due to exams so... there we go :)

I'm like you, hsphouse, unless it's a new release that isn't on the web yet, or a CD by one of my favourite artists (I collect) - I will download it and try it before I buy it. :)

as a member of great music trackers, I ponder we each have a notion about buying new CD.
such as......it is best not to jump at a new released CD available on the market before we try it.
normally, spending time listening to music downloaded from a tracker site seems worth a try.
we,prudent torrent users....it's just like us not waste money on some trash.
well, about that......
guess that some music CDs sellers might get off their asses to kick my ass.

^Yeah. That's one problem about being a fan of pop stars. I like to collect all of their CDs, even if it sucks, hehe.

even though it is a common term used very often....it sounds good,..hehe..
to me, it really pisses me off that I have to download every free leech file coming up at music tracker to have a nice ratio. even if I don't want to.......but I know I MUST suck that up...

^'sucks' is not very strong compared to a lot of the phrases you've been throwing around. ;)

Anyways, there are better ways to improve ratio than just downloading free leech torrents: upload your own torrents!

I remember I used such a words. at that time, I was very mad on his behavior on this forum.
maybe, in a attempt to stave it off, I did that to warn him not to do it any more.

until I found.. the mighty BitTorrent..
I still buy like a few every couple of months
just because I can't find them online

Buying CD's feels nice though;
it should feel normal, but it feels special nowadays
that there are music trackers and such..

Wow I will buy many CDs if my favorite stars often release new album. But in fact I only buy 1 CD per two months.
